Fleet River Ventures brings you our expertise in business development, programme development and policy communications. We link financing, policy and programmes to deliver results that make sense for the whole of your organisation. Fleet River Ventures is based in London and its network is global.
Fleet River Venture's collective decades of experience have resulted in the creation of off-the-shelf consulting programmes that can be directly applied to your organization. It makes us quick, and it means we can use that time to get under the skin of the problem we're being hired to solve. Between us we've seen a lot of money flow through the books, a lot of policy processes influenced, and a lot of programmes start-up, deliver and close out. We know what makes programme and policy delivery tick, and we also know where the bear-traps are. From strategy development and building support, through policy and programme design and delivery to next generation planning, we bring you our confidence in understanding how to make change happen.
We know that we could design the most shiny, innovative and exciting programme possible, but if the Chief Financial Officer doesn't feel comfortable with it, it won't happen. So we've created a suite of tools to help finance, programmes and fundraising work in step and we keep all your key stakeholders happy, or at least interested. We are always conscious of your bottom line considerations.
Helping you get best value from us:
You're running a not-for-profit, or a business with a social goal. Your cash is precious, and if you're going to invest it in us, you want (and we want) the best possible return on investment. Of course we can never guarantee a win. There is competition out there, and sometimes, just sometimes, they might be even better placed than you to win a new project or land a big policy goal with a key stakeholder. So before we take on an assignment, we offer an informal discussion with you about your competitive positioning. We only want to take on work where we estimate that there is at least a 25% chance of success, otherwise it's not good for you, for your social purpose, and not good for our track record. In fact, sometimes you might want to ask us to do a formal market positioning review before you invest heavily in a major opportunity. Or if you're confident in your chances, or if you want our help to make a daring bid to disrupt the existing field of suppliers, you can skip the market assessment and we'll cross the bridges as we come to them.
